Specialized's Tarmac SL6 Sport Disc Road Bike combines the performance credentials of this renowned frameset with reliable Shimano 105 components that perform well in terms of both shifting and braking. The frame is constructed from FACT 9r carbon for low weight and a stiff ride, with the dropped seatstays and carbon seatpost adding in some much-needed compliance to deal with any less than perfectly smooth tarmac. Performance Road Geometry puts you in an aggressive, efficient position and the Rider-First Engineered™ design creates the same balanced feel across every frame size. 

The drivetrain uses a wide-ranging cassette to provide you with ratios for steep hills and fast descents alike, and hydraulic discs ensure you get equal stopping in the wet as in the dry. The DT R470 clincher wheels are a solid choice for getting in the training miles but won't let you down if you want to try your hand at racing. They're stiff and strong, fitted with fast-rolling Turbo Pro 26mm tyres.
